With 34 years of experience in design and 24 years as a residential designer, Catherine brings a wealth of practical knowledge and professionalism to every endeavour.
DBCF’s primary focus is crafting bespoke design solutions to suit every client’s individual needs. Catherine finds immense satisfaction in the creative challenge of translating the client’s unique vision into reality, blending aesthetics with functionality in order to create the captivating living spaces DBCF is known for.
From concept to completion, Catherine and her team attend to all aspects of the design process with meticulous attention to detail.

Our Process
Our 5 Step Design & Build Process
1. Design Brief
In the first meeting with you, we discuss your individual needs, lifestyle and budget. This is incorporated into a written document.
2. Sketch Design
Concept drawings are then designed to suit your agreed individual needs and an estimation of the cost of your renovation is given.
3. Approval Process
All documentation for either a Council Development Application and Construction Certificate or Complying Development Certificate submitted.
4. Construction
We provide assistance in the selection of your builder, assist you in competitive tenders and oversee the building project.
5. Furniture, Fittings & Equipment
We design and assist you with all kitchen, bathroom and wardrobe joinery and the selection of all prime cost items. This is inclusive of all the choices for tiles, bathroom fittings, kitchen appliances, carpet and paint colours.
