B&D Doors (NZ) is the company that owns the Dominator® brand. They are New Zealand’s only garage door manufacturer producing brake press roller doors, along with a comprehensive range of sectional doors and tilt door hardware. They also offer a full suite of opener products for garage doors, gates, and commercial doors through their sister company Automatic Technology Australia Pty (ATA), a world leading innovator, designer and opener manufacturer in their own right.

Since the unveiling of the first B&D Roll-A-Door in Sydney in 1956, the B&D brand has grown to become an Australian icon that reflects engineering ingenuity and innovation. Subsequently, a licencing agreement between B&D and AHI Garage Doors saw the AHI Roll-A-Door introduced to New Zealand having a profound impact on urban streetscapes around the country.

From the development of our initial revolutionary Roll-A-Door - all-steel garage door made from pressed metal sheets that could be rolled and unrolled as a continuous flexible curtain without cracking - we have continued to invest heavily in research and development.

Through constantly delivering design and functionality improvements, B&D has been able to maintain its Australasian market leadership position for more than 50 years.

Site Measure
Call your local dealer and we’ll come to you for a free site measure and quote. Not all garage openings are the same which means it's essential that we measure your aperture correctly. Phone 0800 DOMINATOR (366 462).

Style and Colour
Consult with your dealer, or visit our product pages to find out all the available options, including colour, style, finish, garage door opener and accessories. We also have a number of upgrades and optional extras including window panels and insulation.

Schedule to Make 
Once you have signed off the quote, we’ll start producing your garage door. All of our garage doors are custom-made here in New Zealand.

Delivery
Our dedicated national fleet of trucks ensures we will deliver your garage door on time. We deliver when we say we will deliver.

Installation
Your dealer will book in a time to install and test your new garage door and opener. We try to work around you and we are happy to discuss door maintenance and your warranty when the installation is complete.
