I engaged e+mc2 after having a negative experience with another consultancy firm, whereby I received a design response that did not meet the local council planning policies nor the relevant building regulations. With the design, finance and construction advice provided, the team was able to create a response to the site constraints that was both profitable and aesthetically attractive. It was refreshing to work with E+MC2 and we are now working on our 3rd project together and are looking forward to furthering success.

We engaged E+MC2 to complete the drawings for the building permit approval stages of 2 modern townhouses. I found the team knowledgeable in the council approval processes and the drawings were of a great standard with attention to detail and efficient use of space and building materials. During this process, the team was responsive, hard-working, flexible and timely to our queries, many instances going above and beyond our expectations - a general pleasure to deal with. We challenged e+mc2 to value-add our home by creating an addition that maintained the integrity of the existing structure, as well as creating an exciting visual dimension that gave an uninterrupted connection with the outside. The result was beyond our expectations and right on budget. The design was innovative and very clever in its simplicity and created a visual space concept way more than the limited physical space they had to work with. There were minor adjustments made during the build that tweaked the design & gave it unexpected finesse. The success of this project was the result of very good communication between the designer, builder & owner. Since the completion of the project, the Director has provided advice on other development projects on our behalf.
