Gareth Collins Building

It is based in New Plymouth yet builds Taranaki wide. Our office is based at our home in central New Plymouth where we live with our children, Laikin 14 years and Shae 6 years.

We started our business in April 2012. Beforehand Gareth was the construction manager of a leading Taranaki Building franchise for 6 years managing the construction of over 150 houses. Overall he has worked in the building industry for 18 years in Taranaki and over this time has become well known and trusted. Gareth has the Advanced Certificate in Carpentry and is proud to be a member of the Master Builders Association.

Tania Collins has also been in the building industry for 10 years in a sales/ consultant role and since we started our own business, she takes care of not only the client care but the administration, payroll and accounts side of the company. So, we are definitely a family run business and believe our personal, friendly service coupled with our professionalism really sets us apart as a great team to be entrusted with your important investment.

We have a small team of 5 great young men who are all at different stages of their building apprenticeships, ranging from 1 to 4 years. They also have a sense of pride in our business as they have helped build the 8 award winning homes we have entered in the Master Builders House of the year competitions over the last 5 years.

Our reputation is extremely important to us and we will ensure every project we do has high quality workmanship and open, honest communication with our clients. We organise everything from the initial site visit with our client’s right through to completion, landscaping and any on-going maintenance.

We are always super excited to be chosen as someone’s builder, to be a part of their dreams is a real priviledge and every project is treated as important no matter how big or small.
