About us
George Fethers & Co supplies the materials behind Australia’s most inspired architectural and interior projects.
Since 1865, we have supplied premium surfaces and materials that shape the spaces people live, work, and connect in. With deep roots in craftsmanship and innovation, we collaborate with Australia’s leading architects, interior designers, and builders to realise projects of enduring beauty and performance.
Our collections including timber flooring, veneers, and architectural glass are chosen for their material integrity, refined aesthetic, and design versatility. Whether it’s a sculptural residential space or a landmark commercial development, we deliver solutions that elevate both form and function.
A Legacy of Responsibility
As a fourth-generation family business, we believe longevity starts with responsibility. We are committed to ethical sourcing and selecting materials that meet the highest environmental and social standards.
Our timber products are sourced exclusively from sustainably managed forests in Europe, North America, and Australia, and we offer FSC® and PEFC-certified options upon request. Every product is selected with care for its quality, provenance, and environmental impact.
