About us
HSL specialises in architectural, aluminium, copper, stainless & marine fabrication.
On the 1st April 2017, Chris Strong became the new owner of HSL, having purchased Hibiscus Sheetmetals from Stuart, who retired at the end of August 2018. Chris is an aircraft engineer by trade and is extremely focused on providing quality products and good customer communication. There will be no obvious changes at HSL, as the full HSL team will still be onsite. The only changes will be that Chris and Stephanie are onsite running the office.

We can design and manufacture a wedge wire drain system that meets your needs, our wedge wire drains can be installed in: showers, driveways & patios.
These are great for providing level access into your house.
We only use 316 Stainless Wedge Wire, and custom make all drain grills so we can make something to fit your exacting requirements.
Flash inserts
A flashing system that has been designed for use with timber joinery, it consists of a custom made stainless flashing with stainless inserts and allows for fixing down:
- Timber door and window sills through the flashings
- Balustrade cappings
- Chimney flashings with architectural frames or louvers on top without compromising the weather tightness of the flashings.
