Terms & Conditions
Maintenance provision (defects period)

• There is a maintenance period of twelve (12) months (“the maintenance period”) from the settlement date of the newly built house sold by Home Factor Ltd (“Home Factor”). Home Factor will carry out, during or within a reasonable time from the expiry of the maintenance period, all maintenance work arising from faulty materials or workmanship, at Home Factor’s cost and in compliance with the Building Act 2004 and the Building Code, which are notified by the Purchaser in writing to Home Factor prior to the expiry of the maintenance period. For the avoidance of doubt Home Factor will not be required to repair damage caused by the Purchaser or the Purchaser’s employees, contractors or visitors or caused by fire, earthquake, tempest or another occurrence normally.
• This maintenance provision does not derogate from the implied warranties under the Building Act 2004 which apply to the contract entered as part of purchasing the newly built house. Home Factor agrees to take all reasonable steps to provide assistance so that the benefit of the same are available to and enforceable by the Purchaser.

Every contractor we bring on board is a registered professional, is well regarded in the community and has passion to build and renovate like us.

We want the new owner of one of our homes to be satisfied and be proud as. That can only be achieved by creating a well designed home that uses high quality material and fixtures.

3. Through the build

We spend time at the project, and with the team discussing progress, changes, ideas, timeframes and costs to keep all things on track. Check, review, change if needed, repeat.

4. Council checks

At every stage of the development, the local council inspector is on site checking and approving every detail. So you can be rest assured its safe, legit and quality checked.

5. Materials, fixtures and fittings

We research for the latest trends, reviews of products, materials and fittings to ensure we use the tried and tested. We work with good high quality brands that stand by their products.

6. Quality assurance

New Builds
At Home Factor, we work backwards — we think about the new proud owner of our homes first. What their desires would be, what would make their home beautiful, architecturally designed, trendy, high quality, worth every dollar spent, one that maximises the location and views, and gives them a wow and pride factor. Then, we work with award-winning and well-regarded professionals to create modern, unique and high spec homes. All along using best practice methods, high-quality materials and on-trend fittings and fixtures.

Renovations
We always do the right thing by you — introduce smart unique designs, fix all issues, use high-quality products and registered qualified personnel to carry out all the work. With Home Factor homes, you can always feel rest assured knowing that the renovation has been done to a high standard. That’s why all renovated homes come with a warranty.

Rohit – Director at Home Factor with 17 years plus experience across construction, retail and telecommunications industries. Skilled in project management, coaching, Retail, Store Management, Sales Management, and Relationship Building. Strong entrepreneur professional with a Masters degree in Management from Massey University. 

Priyanka – Entrepreneur, Designer, Experienced Marketer and Avid Photographer with a Masters in Marketing from Massey University. 17 years of leadership and marketing experience in property, education, retail, charitable and financial sectors with a solid ground in leading teams, developing & implementing strategy, campaigns, sponsorships, project and event management.
