Lauren and I would like to thank Jesse and the team for the great work on our new home in Lincoln following the Christchurch earthquakes in 2011.

We were really impressed how we were able to bring our own bespoke design and ideas to Jesse. He helped fine-tune these ideas and make appealing suggestions as he really understood our vision. Jesse was easy to work with and he helped ease the stress and pressure we were under with the loss of our home.

We were able to easily incorporate improvements to the house to ensure we had wow factor, utilising modern construction methods and materials with high energy efficiency which was important to us. He kept us well informed of progress during the build so we knew how things were tracking and what we would see on-site each week.

The quality of finish is impeccable and we now have a home that works well and fits our family. We would like to thank the whole team for the effort and passion they put into our home. We are extremely happy and love living in our new home.

Following the September earthquake, Sandi and I were pretty much in a stake of shock as was most of Canterbury and our house was badly damaged and uneconomical to repair.

We had heard of the houses that Jesse and Marcella's had built and there reputation for building high quality homes and approached them for idea's and help.

Jesse was fantastic and listened to what we wanted and made us feel part of the process.

Together with Jesse & Marcella we came up will a plan that was exactly what we wanted.

Jesse and Marcella worked closely with us during the entire building process and couldn't rate them and their team highly enough, nothing was a problem for them. We made changes along the way and these were never a problem and our wishes were readily accommodated.

The back up after build care was followed up well too.

We were included in everything and consider Jesse and Marcella family friends and they attended our wedding in our new home.

Our house is fantastic and we couldn't have asked for more.

From the first time we meet Jesse from JD Homes, it all just seemed to fall into to place. From the exciting design process to the finished product, he was "just on the same page as us". We are absolutely delighted with our JD Homes experience. We were incredibly lucky to have been given the option of using JD Homes for our earthquake rebuild and we leapt at the chance after meeting Jesse. I was told that building a house would be stressful but JD Homes were superb in every respect and made it so easy. JD Homes builds architectural homes for specific people with specific needs and we selected them to build our new home based on that along with the standards awards and the reputation they had previously acheived.

On that basis we choose them, and the resultant buidl is outstanding. The team Jesse, Sven and Ben were prompt in alerting us to any issues regarding design, materials, suppliers, etc. And were proactive and innovative in suggesting alternative solutions and enhancements. It is amazing the number of comments that have been received from complete strangers viewing the home determining that it is the best house of the street and many visitors have remarked on the quality of the craftmanship.
