About us
Jo Harris is an experienced kitchen and bathroom designer based on the Hibiscus Coast, Auckland.
With over 20 years of experience in the design industry, Jo offers a friendly, cost-effective, professional and personal approach to any design project.
On completion of her Diploma of Interior Design in 1988, Jo started her career specialising in kitchens. Over the years, she has worked for cabinetmakers and award-winning designers, gaining invaluable insight and experience. This background created the perfect platform for Jo to start her own design practice. Although specialising in kitchens and bathrooms, Jo enjoys looking at the whole space and offers suggestions and advice in spatial planning. Whether it's a renovation or a new build, spatial planning is an extremely important part of the approach to finding the perfect design solution.

The Process
We recommend you start the planning of your kitchen or bathroom, earlier than later. This early input from a designer, can not only ensure an easier journey, but fresh ideas could create a better design of your home overall.
The process is started by having an initial appointment, either at your home or over coffee.
Philosophy
The highest priority is to help my clients create a beautiful space that they desire to spend time in and long to come home to. This is why taking a personalised brief from the client, is vital to the whole design process. This in turn guarantees success, and client satisfaction of the completed project. Additionally, clear and efficient communication amongst all involved on the project, is key. This ensures all details are understood from the designer, to the client and ultimately to the cabinetmaker. The result is a simple and straight forward process.
We encourage our clients to take time to make sure they are happy with all the decisions being made during the design process. This makes certain that the end result is exactly what the client is after.
We strive for client satisfaction, ensuring all details are correct and all is in order. This is imperative to our design approach. We are mindful of many aspects, from the functionality of the space to the placement of handles. Attention to detail, no matter how small, is important to the design.
