Julian Guthrie Architecture

“We had the pleasure of working with Julian Guthrie while we were living in London and planning our dream home back in New Zealand. Timing wise, our home was designed and built during the Covid pandemic, so with travel restricted it was critical we engage an architect we fully trusted. We liked Julian immediately from our initial Zoom meeting, felt he understood exactly what we were wanting and had the talent and skill to execute it well. Julian and the team were fantastic. Jullian was able to take our design brief of 'modern villa with a resort like vibe' and transform it into reality. The end result is a beautiful home - full of light, calm and elegant spaces. We could not be happier. During the process, Julian always struck the right balance of providing clear guidance and direction, while also listening to what we wanted. Being in different countries naturally had challenges, but we found Julian readily available for Zoom calls and email exchanges across time zones. We are so thrilled with our new home that we are now working together again on a refurbishment of our beach house. We cannot recommend Julian Guthrie highly enough!”
