BALANCE

_________________________________________

Each interior design project is a unique balancing act between contrasting qualities.

Our goal is to strike the right balance for you between:

+ Poetic and practical
+ Innovative and timeless
+ Elegant and playful
+ High-tech and natural
+ Affordable and opulent.

We aspire to find a middle ground or a state of moderation where greater harmony and wellbeing can be found.

SIMPLICITY

_________________________________________

Our approach is grounded in considered simplicity. It sits at the core of our studio philosophy and is articulated throughout each project.

In our work, considered simplicity means:

+ Bigger isn’t always better
+ Less is more, and
+ Beauty exists in restraint.

As Antoine De Saint Exupery says, “Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.”

PEOPLE + SPACE = PLACE

_________________________________________

We curate the relationship between people and the built environment to create ‘place’.

Places are more than spaces, they possess:

+ Meaning
+ Connection
+ Function
+  A sense of belonging and
+  An identity

Our approach to place is reflected in the Japanese proverb “Ma wa kokoro no yasuragi (間は心の安らぎ)”.

Translated, it means, “place is tranquillity of the heart.”

+ Home renovations and extensions.

+ Interiors for new homes.

+ Kitchen and bathroom design

+ Residential lighting design

Together with our clients, we create homes that enhance the rituals of everyday life.

Our process alleviates stress and allows you an enjoyable journey to realising your dreams.

We pride ourselves on being good listeners, committed to capturing the essence of your unique lifestyle and personality.
