About us
At KiwiBuilt, we are passionate about executing Wellington's most structurally demanding and architecturally ambitious homes.
Founded by Corey Brown, our team brings a rare advantage to the residential market: a deep background in heavy civil engineering. Having spent years as a Head Foreman running complex infrastructure projects—including the $1.7M Rangoon Street concrete-and-steel bridge over the active railway corridor, the Airlie Road bridge replacement, and the complex seismic strengthening of Shed 6 on the Wellington Waterfront—Corey ensures that even the most challenging designs are executed with absolute precision.
We specialize in bridging the gap between complex engineering and award-winning finishing. Whether we are navigating steep hillside foundations, integrating heavy structural steel, or meticulously reproducing the heritage details of a classic Wellington villa, we approach every build with uncompromising discipline.
This unique standard of execution is why KiwiBuilt was awarded the 2025 Supreme Regional Craftsmanship Award, with the Master Builders judges praising our work for its "discipline, clarity, and pride." ---
Team with passionate expertise
At KiwiBuilt, we strive for excellence in every project. Our passionate and skilled team is dedicated to making your build or renovation the best it can be, every single time. We pride ourselves on being approachable and maintaining an open policy, ensuring there are no surprises from start to finish. We love a good challenge, whether it's restoring old villas or completing new builds with unique touches. As a proud company, we treat our workers like family and extend that same respect to our clients. Your home, your vision, our promise.
