Testimonials

We really enjoyed working with Karen on our villa renovation and only regret not having involved her earlier in the design process. Her energy and decisiveness suited us, and her interior design expertise resulted in a personalised, cohesive style throughout our home. We highly recommend KKID and hope to have the opportunity to work with Karen again on future projects.

Karen is exceptional at what she does, she is easy to work with, takes the stress out a renovation and transforms your home to everything you dreamed of. What I will also say about Karen is she can do spectacular things with a big budget but can also do mind blowing magic with a smaller budget.

She has been a life saver for us, I can’t thank her enough.

Leanne Graham & Greg Byrne

We engaged KKID to do a complete refurbishment of our 3 bedroom waterfront apartment. Our brief to Karen was that we wanted a complete top-to-bottom makeover: new lighting, flooring, hard and soft furnishing and specifically we wanted her to engage all the trades and manage the entire process. Karen listened to what we wanted to achieve and to say that we were delighted with what she delivered is an understatement. Karen takes particular pride in her subcontractors and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone delivers to her extremely high standards. We cannot recommend KKID highly enough.

Brent & Bev Harman

"It was a pleasure to work with Karen on the interiors of our new chalets. We were impressed by Karen’s ability to present ideas and options clearly to us from a distance. She pushed the boundaries to achieve a great result – meeting the brief for a somewhat time constrained, remote build. Karen was able to meet our budget requirements whilst ensuring only quality finishes were selected. We were thrilled with the overall experience and hope to work together with her again."

"Karen worked on many bespoke rooms for us across London. Her attention to detail was crucial in successfully completing often challenging interiors and exhibitions. Karen has a great sense of colour, texture and design and understands how to bring all these elements together to create a truly stunning result. She has a real knack for fabrics and wall coverings and how they should work in harmony with architecture. Always professional and practical Karen is great to work with and understands what is needed on prestigious sites and discerning clients. We were sad to see her leave the UK but know she will be successful upon her return home."

Tim Butcher, Director, Fromental

"Karen worked as our designer for our villa in Dubai, completed 2013. Karen was professional but also fun to work with. She came up with wonderful solutions and communicated well with us every step of the way. It was also refreshing to work with a designer who not only was efficient, organised and proactive but who was clearly passionate about her work and  took a great deal of care to deliver something we really liked. Karen is very knowledgeable with a great eye for detail. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Karen to anyone looking for a bespoke interior design solution."
