Lamina Stone Panels, significantly lighter than standard marble, utilise advanced assembly techniques rather than traditional marble methods. Aluminium or stainless-steel elements are affixed to the back of the panels in the factory using methods like chemical bonding, screwing, or canalisation. In the construction ares, these panels are mounted onto pre-installed bearing elements, providing up to 70% faster installation compared to classic marble assembly. Additionally, due to their lightness, the panels are easily transported without the need for heavy equipment.

Weighing only 16 kg, Lamina Stone Panels are four times lighter than 2cm thick traditional marble. This not only broadens their application range but also significantly reduces transportation costs.

Our Factory
The journey of Lamina Stone began with marble exports and assembly, marking the start of a legacy that continues to this day. Established in 2007 in the Tuzla Organised Industrial Zone in Istanbul, the company quickly built a reputation for its expertise, experience, and commitment to quality. By 2010, driven by a need for greater production capacity and a passion for innovation, Lamina Stone moved its facility to the Afyon Organized Industrial Zone, renowned as Turkey's marble hub.
In the same year, the company pioneered marble lamination—a groundbreaking solution for the industry. With a strong focus on R&D, Lamina Stone became the first and only manufacturer in Turkey to produce laminated lightweight marble panels. By adopting this challenging manufacturing process and integrating it with advanced technology, the company can now cut natural stones like marble, travertine, onyx, and granite into 3-5 mm thicknesses and laminate them with technological substrates. This innovative approach has enabled Lamina Stone to deliver lightweight, durable panels for both domestic and international markets, expanding the use of natural stone in construction and design.
