My name is Liz Kerby. I am an Auckland based Interior Designer. I am passionate about interior and kitchen design and have been working in and around the interior and design industry for most of my working life.

My design industry experience includes over 20 years in commercial interior design, kitchen & bathroom design, residential interior, exhibition display design, NZ Manager for Gaggenau cooking appliances, sales & marketing roles in product source publishing, furniture design & development.

Each project I work on is tailored to you no matter what your style or budget. I love to design and manage both residential and commercial interior projects and have the wealth of experience and contacts to offer you a stress free one-stop-shop.

Attention to detail is paramount with our floor plans, elevations, custom vanity plans & product specifications schedule. These will be used by the team of skilled trade professionals to build & fitout the space. The end result is a bathroom or ensuite you will love. A special private place to begin and end each day.

Having these decisions made prior to the start of your renovation will save you money, reduce stress and keep your building team happy.

Most schemes are presented as scale floor plans, design detail elevations & sections, mood board & specification sheets.

Interior finishes schemes may include: site visit, paint scheme mood board with Resene specification sheet, speciality wall finishes, flooring selection, tiles, feature lighting & electrical fittings, cabinetry finishes, plumbing & white ware fittings, fire & hearths, bench tops & splash backs, timber & hard to find special finishes.

CUSTOM BUILT-IN FURNITURE DESIGN 

In addition to kitchen & vanity designs we also specialise in custom built-in furniture design such as media units, scullery's, laundries, window seats, storage & shelving to suit your needs.

These additional custom design & made cabinetry units are not only practical  but can also help anchor a room and create clever storage solutions.

FURNITURE + DECOR + WINDOW FURNISHINGS SELECTION

Once the building & cabinetry work is complete we often asked by clients to help select special furniture & decorative pieces and window furnishing options.

Design advice for these require a skilled carefull eye to ensure your existing pieces and new items work together. We are always happy to share an interior design trade discount if available from selected suppliers.

Soft furnishings may include: site visit, new furniture, upholstery, fabric selection, floor rugs, lighting, mirrors , wardrobe design & fitout, window treatments such as drapes, blinds & wooden shutters.

PAINT COLOUR SCHEMES

A well considered paint colour scheme can make or break your finished renovation project. The internal & external paint scheme needs to work along side the other surface finishes, fittings & furniture.

Paint Schemes may include: site visit, paint colour mood board, colour plan, large colour samples with Resene Technical Specifications ready for your painter to follow.

EXTERIOR FINISHES SELECTION

A well considered design & schedule for exterior finishes is vital for the smooth running of your building project.

Exterior finishes may include: site visit, paint colour mood board & plan with Resene specifications ready for your painter, cladding options, roof, gutters & down pipe selection, garage & front door selection, entrance light fittings, joinery hardware, entrance tiles & pavers.
