It is with great pleasure that we write this testimonial for Jodie Roberston. Jodie is an exceptional interior designer who is passionate, knowledgeable and professional with a meticulous attention to detail. We love Jodie because she is direct and honest, tells it like it is with no nonsense, and always has a sense of humour. This was a key trade needed to work with Francky.

Our relationship began over 2 years ago, after we decided St Georges need a clear direction for its transformation and expertise was required.

By taking the time to understand our visions, goals and especially Francky’s expectations. Jodie was able to incorporate and transform the spaces and develop a vision for the property. This job is a labour of love, and dedication as the transformation was always going to be a step by step process not an overnight transformation. Jodie fully understood this, and has stood by our side the whole way. Jodie is hands on, always there to help and goes out of her way to insure every step of the project is successfully completed. Even to the point of sweeping the floors, cleaning the bathrooms and just about anything we needed to get ready for opening after our first major renovations.

St Georges is still ongoing, but the transformation to date is implacable. We know have a sense of warmth, ambience, colour, style and a sense of welcoming. We continue to get high praise for Jodie’s work from clients and guests who visit especially our regularly customers who have seen the transformation over the past 2 years. Several times a day we get comments on the lounge area, as people fall in love with the couch and luxurious cushions, now the acoustic panels with their vibrancy and lusciousness allure people into the dining room.

We had a 3 year goal, to get a review in Cuisine Magazine. This was achieved in December 2014, within 2 years. Published in March 2015 issue. We know without the transform of St Georges without Jodie, this would not have been achieved. We may only be part way through our journey of transformation, but we know that Jodie is the right person for our journey and an asset to our business.

We recently purchased a house in Napier which had everything we wanted but which desperately needed refurbishing. Having recently moved to Hawkes Bay we were renting at the time, and so were in the ideal position of being able to stay in our rental for an extra month so that we could completely renovate our new home before moving in. The downside was that this gave us only 4 weeks to choose paint colours, order new curtains and floor tiles – it was a lot of pressure and decisions to make quickly. That was where Jodie came in. She was absolutely fantastic and made it all so much easier and less stressful than it would have been. We had the curtains and roman blinds chosen and ordered in 2 days, which meant that they were ready to be hung before we moved in. And we get so many compliments on how great they look. We are so thrilled with how it has all come together and can’t thank Jodie enough for all her help!
