About us
We are a building company based out of Wanaka, New Zealand that specialises in Formance SIPs homes and renovations.
We do what we do because we love our jobs and the ability to create something that will last for years to come.
We pride ourselves on our organisational skills, and with the assistance of a solid professional group of subcontractors.
Our Vision
We want to work with people who want to build better than just the standard, with an eco-sustainable mindset and minimal waste. We aim to under promise and over deliver on every build. We are a family run and family motivated business wanting to improve New Zealand living and housing standards.
We take pride in building for the next generation.
“I love being outside working with my hands, in the fresh air working with power tools. But it’s more than that, it’s creating relationships with people, bringing their dreams to reality.
Ultimately, it’s the ability to create more than a house, but a home. Something people can be proud to call theirs. I love showing my kids what their Dad built!” - Shaun McCarroll
Formance SIPs
One of the major trends in the industry is high performing homes built to high standards. This is where our relationship with Formance came about.
People are wanting to build better than the minimum standard and so are we. By creating air tight warm dry homes, we are building for the future. The environmental aspect of this building process is also appealing as we as an industry to contribute to a high level of waste and rubbish.
Formance Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) are a high performance building material for the ultimate home. They provide high insulation, high strength and a low eco footprint. The right material choice for ongoing high performance in hot and cold climatic zones anywhere in New Zealand.
One of the major influences in the industry right now are costs - cost of construction materials etc. But value for money is key here - building something that might cost slightly more now will be cheaper in the long run, in terms of efficiency to heat/cool and maintain over the years.
This is where the Formance SIPS panels separate themselves from the rest of industry. With this partnership, we can create homes that will last generations.
