In 2018 we decided to engage with a professional consultant to update and freshen up our cape cod home. Sophie throughout the process has been amazing to work with. From paint, to furniture, window coverings, bathroom design and anything else that needed revamping! Sophie achieved our end result. Although our home just sold, everyone that came to inspections were so impressed by the colour scheme put together by Sophie. We will be using Sophie again in our up and coming project.

This is the third time we have used Sophie’s services. She did such a wonderful job helping us set up our living area when we moved house a few years ago, that we rang her again when we wanted to make over teenage boys rooms (one last year and the final room over the past few months). On all 3 occasions she has been such a pleasure to work with and it is the reason we keep coming back. For our latest project we had the added complexity of working through the COVID lockdown and Sophie was wonderful at arranging trades and deliveries and doing remote consultations when necessary. Sophie was brilliant. She contacted us almost straight away and came to our house on a public holiday. Her ideas were amazing and she was very patient with us as we went back and forward over decisions. After returning to Melbourne from overseas, we had lots of gaps to fill in furnishing our new home. Sophie made the entire process seamless, managing everything from sourcing to delivery and installation, even picture hanging. She was always open to ideas, while confidently guiding decisions with her expert eye for what will look best. She quickly understood my style and thoughtfully incorporated existing pieces alongside new selections. She also had lots of practical, family-focused suggestions to make the spaces function well day-to-day.

I was at a loss as to how to furnish the open plan kitchen-dining-living area, but Sophie immediately knew how to make it feel beautifully zoned, with smart, stylish pieces and storage that works for life with kids. She also created a gorgeous bedroom for my daughter that’s playful and age-appropriate now and timeless enough to grow with her in the future. She has an amazing knowledge of what’s available, what’s good value, and what will work!

What I appreciated most was Sophie’s sensitivity to creating a home that feels calm, cohesive, and like ‘us’. She remained mindful of budget throughout, making the most of trade discounts and being conscious of spending in the right places.
