Architectural Designers
About us
Noel Jessop Architecture is a Hamilton based architectural design team.
We are a multi-award winning practice and have an exceptional portfolio of work that can be viewed at www.nja.co.nz.
Our experience encompasses coastal and rural homes, large scale residential, commercial and industrial developments, which has led to numerous architectural awards both locally and nationally.
We are proud to have been regularly published in Urbis, NZ Home and Garden and Homestyle magazines.
NJA strives for the highest standards of client service, design and documentation. At the completion of each project the aim is to have achieved a building that is beyond the client's expectations. Our commitment to providing superior service to our clients has been recognized with a nomination for a Business Excellence Award by the Waikato Chamber of Commerce.
Each project is analyzed for its special requirements and opportunities: the end result being not a preconceived idea but a combination of the client's requirements and desires, the site and the budget. Critical consideration is given to the project's specific environmental and historical location, and to the appropriate materials and construction methods of the locality.
NJA believes good design will produce sustainable, functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces and buildings that have an enduring quality over time.
Studio
A converted space on the edge of Hamilton’s CBD is home to our studio where we turn ideas into reality and continue to build an impressive portfolio of original designs.
With over 25 years of creating urban, coastal, rural & large-scale residential homes, Noel Jessop Architecture is equally at home when crafting commercial and industrial developments.
Noel Jessop is a profound conceptual thinker who, with his team, develops creative building designs that have made him a sought-after industry leader. He has a special connection with space, light and people and believes good design produces sustainable, functional and aesthetically pleasing environments and buildings that have an enduring quality.
We believe that good design doesn’t have to be expensive or large, it just needs to be better.
Purpose
We ultimately create what feels right to us. It’s about displaying integrity, which resonates with our clients who trust us to deliver on our promises. Our purpose is to integrate our thinking with our customers’ so that we produce a final product that makes everyone proud. We believe that bigger is rarely better; it’s more about thinking clearly about the space you occupy and how that can assist with transformative experiences.
Craftmanship
We consider every little detail, which is as important to us as the overall design concept and end result. Bringing something fresh to the table, along with quality craftsmanship and the ability to make a positive impact on people’s lives, is the reason we excel at what we do.
