Nolan Building

Supporting South Canterbury’s Farming Community

From new builds, to repairs and renovations, Nolan Building can help your farm be safer, more efficient and productive.

Building and renovating on a farm can add extra challenges, but they’re ones we’re experienced enough to handle. Our team will take care of the logistical issues caused by working around livestock, or in remote locations, creating practical structures that will do the job and stand the test of time.

Rural Repairs

The Canterbury Plains are no stranger to high winds, torrential rain, flooding, snow and hail. In fact, parts of Timaru, South Canterbury and the Mackenzie Country regularly experience four seasons in one day. Nolan building can repair your leaky roofs or damaged farm sheds, so wherever you are working or whatever you are storing is kept warm and dry.

Rural Concrete Construction

Nolan Building can contain your silage with pre-cast concrete bunkers. We’ll take care of the excavation works, laying the pad, and installing the 50 metre long concrete walls. Once we’ve sealed all the joints, your concrete bunker will be ready to store your grain, feed, root crops or waste materials.

Farm Sheds

Tell us what you need to make your life easier. We can’t control the weather, but Nolan Building can construct steel or timber frame farming sheds that are fit for your purpose. From shearing, milking, storage or something else, Nolan Building can create the right farm shed for you.

If you need repairs, renovations or a new structure on your rural South Canterbury property, contact the team at Nolan Builders for a free, on-site consultation and quote.

Does your South Canterbury shop front create the best first impression with your customers? Is your business’ layout and functionality well suited for your staff? Call Nolan Building to give your business a boost!

Customers and clients will judge your business based on the look of your shop-front or office. It doesn’t matter how dynamic and enthusiastic your staff, products or services are, a drab and dreary looking business will drive people away before they step through the door.

Nolan Building can help you create a business that welcomes customers and clients, while making your staff feel at home. How can we help improve your business?

Business Facelift

If everything works fine, but the facade looks a little tired, Nolan Building can bring a fresh look to your business. Let us know what you need to give your South Canterbury business a new look.

Commercial Renovations

Is your business fit for purpose? Does it need a complete overhaul? Changing Your Home To Suit You

How can Nolan Building renovate and improve your South Canterbury home? We can add an extension to create more room for dining and entertaining, new bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate the needs of a growing family, or revamp your kitchen to give your home a fresh look.

Experienced South Canterbury Renovators

Home alterations and renovations should only be trusted to experienced Registered Master Builders. When building a new home, your team is in charge of the entire construction process. When renovating or making alterations to an existing home, it’s your responsibility to take over from whoever built it in the first place.

To be a great home renovator, you must be an excellent problem solver, because it’s hard to know what you will be working with until you pull back the plaster board. Nolan Building’s greatest strength is the experience of each and every one of our builders. We love to be challenged and combine our different building styles to successfully bring together the old and new.

Choose Nolan Building

Let us know what you would like to change about your home. We can help you draw up alteration plans, or start renovating with designs from your architect. Bring us your renovation ideas and Nolan Building will make them happen. We’ll also pull together a team of trusted plumbers, electricians, painters and decorators from around Timaru, South Canterbury and the Mackenzie Country who we know will meet our high standards. Together, we can make it look like the new addition was always part of your home.

Respectful Of Your Family

Depending on how extensive your renovation plans are, you may still be living in your home while Nolan Building works on it. That’s ok. We’ll work around you to minimise the disruption to your daily life while your renovations take place. We’re challenging the builder’s stereotypes by always being respectful to you and your family, keeping you updated with progress and problem-solving reports.
