At Pearse Construction we believe that the key to any successful new build or renovation starts in the plans. We are closely linked to a handful of carefully selected New Zealand based and industry leading architects that we can rely on to set the foundations for a thriving project.

Alternatively, we can work in alliance with your nominated architect to provide you with the most accurate time frame and price estimate. We strongly believe that creating your dream project, whether home or commercial, should be enjoyable for all parties. This is why we go to extra lengths to ensure a smooth process, creating lasting relationships during the process with all clients.

Project Management

At Pearse Construction we use a blend of time-tested construction methods and innovative technology, to project manage from build from preliminary design through to project completion. Our team has a wealth of knowledge and industry experience which provides valuable input every step of the way.

Careful project management ensures the company meets time and cost constraints thus minimising complications. A high level of efficiency and productivity is maintained through the use of iHub and Tanda, which tracks all equipment and team members.

Health and safety is a priority and at Pearse Construction we approach this through the latest in technology. Ongoing training, inspections, audits and reporting happen at every point of the process. We provide you with current training registers of our staff, this includes work experience, licenses and memberships obtained.

Quantity Surveying

At Pearse Construction, we use our own in house quantity surveyors to ensure that through every step of the way we are exceeding client expectations. We give accurate estimates and track budgets in real time. We also have an open book policy by attaching all subcontractor and material invoices so the client can review for themselves. 

In addition to our open book policy, we like to keep transparent about which subcontractors we choose to work with. We are always open to working with your recommendation. However, if you don’t have a preferred contractor, we will always provide at least 3 quotes for each trade needed on site.

Refurbishing buildings that have stood the test of time but need a little rejuvenation is one of our specialities. Our management team work closely with local communities, Iwi and the Historic Places Trust to overcome the array of cultural, historical and archaeological issues that may arise. With our extensive knowledge on New Zealand Building Standards teamed with our experience on New Zealand Heritage Sites we understand the specific requirements, challenges and expectations of this type of work.
