Percival Construction is an award-winning building company based in Whitianga, Coromandel Peninsula.

We specialise in new homes and architecturally designed homes and renovations.

Percival Construction is a local, family-run company, which prides itself on meeting the needs of individual clients; whether that is providing assistance with planning, design, council consent documents or advice when selecting products. We always work with integrity and we encourage clients to actively participate in their building process. We have a selection of quality sub-contractors who have delivered for us, and our clients, over and over again.  Our team of handpicked highly skilled carpenters work tirelessly in the pursuit of excellence, as is evident in our success in the Registered Master Builder – House of the Year awards.

Qualifications

Damian has a National Certificate in Carpentry and some 25 years’ experience in the construction industry. He’s also a Licensed Building Practitioner. We also employ other builders who have this designation.

Percival Construction is a member of the Registered Master Builders. Only builders who meet the qualifications and experience criteria, have a sound business record, and build high quality homes and buildings are able to become members.

Percival Construction works across Mercury Bay including: Whangapoua, Matarangi, Kuaotunu, Otama Beach, Opito Bay, Whitianga, Hahei, Cooks Beach and Hot Water Beach.

“Damian worked as the head foreman for Lifestyle Projects on the project to build our new house. He was handling two projects at the same time. This was a major construction project for a residential home involving a number of different specialist contractors. Not only was the project completed on time and to a high specification, it was also managed in a highly professional and tightly controlled manner by Damian.
