Quickset Carpentry is a Melbourne-based renovation specialist creating thoughtful, high-performance homes designed to feel as good as they look. Led by owner and builder John Peterson, the team brings more than two decades of industry experience to renovations and additions, combining craftsmanship, practical design and building science to improve the way existing homes perform and function. With a particular appreciation for character and period homes, Quickset Carpentry takes a holistic approach to renovation, carefully considering flow, natural light, insulation, airtightness, ventilation and material selection. The aim is to seamlessly blend old and new while creating warmer, healthier and more energy-efficient homes suited to modern family life. Taking on only a small number of projects each year allows John to remain closely involved from the initial planning stages through to construction and completion, providing clients with a highly personal and considered building experience.
