Winter 2015 we had R&B Builders do EQC repairs and extensive renovations to our home at Cass Bay, Lyttelton Harbour.
Brett Armstrong along with Paul Mckessar lead the build and we enjoyed the many other young men and the many “subbies” who worked at our home. A great team.
We are absolutely delighted with the result. We had a “Vision” of what we wanted and R&B achieved this for us. They were there when they said they would be, time frames were achieved, there was excellent communication, and excellent work with everything finished off. The process, apart from dust and 7.30 starts every working day, was far less stressful than we imagined.
Now we are enjoying our transformed home and we would recommend R&B Builders for anybody undertaking a renovation.

We had plans to make improvements to our home which included a very large deck, outdoor kitchen and seating area and spa pool with privacy wall.
We had a clear idea of what we wanted and the team of builders from R & B, led by Brett Armstrong produced a fantastic result for us. They followed our plans exactly, except where they suggested changes which enhanced the end result. They were excellent listeners and had a great understanding of what we wanted to achieve, asking questions frequently to ensure we were happy with each step of the process.
Their faultless workmanship and eye for detail was exactly what we were after for our project. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality team of tradesmen.

My wife and I had spent a long time dreaming about our dream home and it is only recently that we have been able to realise this dream.  With fixed ideas of design and layout, we commissioned AO Architecture to formalise our ideas in to a plan which as it turned out was one of the best decisions we have made, as they managed to take our ideas and wants to a level that has exceeded our expectations.
For the building phase, we considered a whole range of options but after meeting with Brett and Ryan we felt that R&B Builders were the only builders that were in a position to work within our specific contractual requirements and after viewing several finished and in progress builds of R&B, we were left with no doubt that they should build our new home.
Now that we are two thirds of the way through our build, we have been blown away with the quality of build and very pleased with the progress to date.  It has also been very refreshing to find that R&B’s sub-contractors exhibit the same level of professionalism as R&B Builders and their staff.

Brett and his team built a new home for us on Banks Peninsula in 2014 which has exceeded all of our dreams.  They were fantastic to work with, their attention to detail was outstanding and they were always very obliging.  They were more than happy to help with other projects on our site including retaining walls, patio and driveway preparation.
The team proved themselves very capable of building on a hill site and worked in whatever conditions the weather threw at them.
The building inspector commented on the excellent quality of workmanship as did several of the subcontractors who worked on the site.
