''We had heard about the very talented Ben Redmond from so many people that when we were finally ready to push go on our new home he has the first and only call. On meeting him for the first time, it was clear that he had an immediate grasp of what we were after, and enthusiasm to be part of the project. We are not yet finished, but throughout he always has our interests first, with a passion to deliver only the best result. There are no problems, just challenges. He has a great team of guys with him, and a trusted list of subbies ready to be immediately on site whenever called. We would have (and have had) no hesitation in recommending Ben to others wanting to build the best.''

''Ben works hard and is dependable. He looks after his client, his architect / designer, his apprentices, his builders, the council – everyone. This is because he is a good communicator as well as a seasoned builder, knowing the ropes. He is responsive and practical. If something isn’t quite right he will confront it straight on. Together we made some decisions about design with Ben translating the technical detail to come up with something that I wanted, and he could create. It was fun. I value most of Bens respectfulness and consideration. I needed to keep a close track of costs, and Ben looked after that well – keeping me abreast of the process and detail regularly. This is the 3rd home I have built over a period of 30 years, and if I was building another, in no matter which part of New Zealand, Ben would be the man to do it!''

''Ben Redmond has led for me the building on two substantial projects. In 2003/4 the building of a new house ‘Riverside 4’ sited on the Tuki Tuki river in Hawke’s Bay and in 2007/8 the complete restoration of an historic house ‘Arden’ in Havelock North. The workmanship of himself and his employees was of the highest standard, he mastered the complex requirements of the work, and he delivered both projects to my complete satisfaction. Further at all times, he acted with the utmost integrity, honesty and professionalism. I consider Ben and his firm to be the leading builders in Hawkes Bay and they will definitely be my first choice for any future building projects that I undertake.''

''We were very fortunate to secure the services of Ben Redmond from Redmond Builders. Having been involved in several new building projects over the years this one proved to be the most enjoyable and hassle free. Not only is Ben an exceptionally good tradesman, his organisational and staff management skills kept our build running smoothly and ahead of schedule. He will go that extra mile to make sure the client is satisfied and will spend time giving options and offering solutions to any issues that arise during the build. The end result is an exceptionally well built, well finished home, which will stand the test of time and be enjoyed for many years to come.''
