I am currently working with Michael at reimagined habitat from concept to build on a large house renovation and extension project, and can't recommend him highly enough. Michael is able to blend creative design with a wide knowledge of sustainable materials, systems, and building practices, so the end result doesn't compromise on style or substance. He is easy-going to work with, has an incredible contact list of trades and suppliers, and is driven to achieve an outstanding result for his clients. 

I first met Michael as attendees on a Passive House Designers Course in 2017. After I had failed engagement with an architect and another building designer, I started working with Michael in May 2018 on structural components of the house. Our strawbale house has some innovative concepts including: biomimicry, no dedicated heating or cooling, minimising upfront carbon, the structure supports a food forest, externally local flora and fauna is supported, as wel as needing to be habitable. Michael's collaboration was excellent as he challenged many of my ideas and improved the design. Over time he assumed the role of designer and completed all of the design. 

Michael provided drafting, design and concept work for some landscaping at our house. He was generous with his time and offered great design ideas and suggestions. But then his designs, concepts and rendering brought our landscaping dreams to life in a way we didn't think was possible. It was very clever and seemed to create space where we didn't think it was possible. I look forward to moving to the next stage - construction - with him and his team. Many thanks Michael!

Michael worked with us in re-designing the interior layout and improve the street appeal of our tiny red-brick duplex in Canberra. The brief was to incorporate a kitchen, dining, living, laundry, powder room, and study into a minuscule space less than 50sqm, so it was quite a challenge. We loved his innovative design tht made the best out of the space, the light, and orientation. The plans were detailed and the renders were invaluable in visualising the end result. Michael is a consummate professional, and he's also generous, patient, and a pleasure to work with. Our build starts shortly and we just can't wait!
