Andrew Elliott

^{Andrew Elliott is the founder and Managing Director of RenoMasters. Andrew is a self-made businessman. He has over 30 years experience in Residential Property Investment, Renovation, Sales, Marketing and Business Management. Andrew also has a substantial investment portfolio that he and his wife have built up, renovated and managed over many years. There is not much that Andrew can’t put his mind to or solve when it comes to practical building and business solutions.}

Lynette

^{Lynette McMullan is a valuable member of the RenoMasters team. Her meticulous organisational, accounting and administration skills keeps the boys on their toes and the books in order. Having a finger on the pulse on all aspects of the business takes a lot of pressure off the team enabling them to build and not be bogged down with paper work. Lynette works tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that all facets of the business run smoothly. Lynette is the glue for the builders, contractors and customers!}

Etienne

^{Orignally from Germany, Etienne Hornbacher first came to New Zealand in 2010 as an exchange student and lived in Napier. Back in Germany he started a Bio-Engineering degree. However, after 2 years he decided it wasn't for him and returned to Napier. He located to Queenstown where Etienne worked at Mitre 10. He went on to be a Hammer Hand and apprentice for a local building company. During his time in Queenstown, Etienne worked on high-end residential builds averaging 4-6 million. In April 2018 he moved to Dunedin so he could join our team and he is now RenoMasters' construction manager.}

Steffan

^{Steffan Lewis hales from a small coastal town in Wales called Fishguard but he proudly now calls Dunedin home, for a few reasons. Steffan stems from a rugby mad family and has been playing rugby since he was 3 years old. It was a family holiday to New Zealand in 2017 for the Lions rugby tour where he fell in love with New Zealand and decided to stay. So, after saying goodbye to his family at Christchurch airport he secured a carpentry job with a local building company (through playing rugby). This company took him through to Queenstown where he was building high spec houses, before he decided to move to Dunedin in 2019 to be with his partner Georgia, 2 dogs and more recently the addition of their daughter.}

Kobi

^{Kobi Peckowski migrated from Poland as a teenager with his family, initially to Christchurch, before moving to Dunedin where after helping his parents renovate their house, went on to complete his apprenticeship in Carpentry/Building. His partner soon followed him to Dunedin. The recent addition of their son makes them now a family of three. Kobi’s building experience ranges from renovations, extensions, new builds, insurance repairs and rebuild and light commercial work. Kobi is a talented sportsman; judo (medallist), multiple half marathon runner and loves running, football, boxing, and weightlifting. He is a talented musician - played bass & electric guitar in bands, is a song writer, plus he enjoys rebuilding and repairing cars. Whilst speaking fluent English Kobi can also speak Hebrew and Polish, making him RenoMasters most diverse multi-lingual team member.}

Chris

^{Chris Johnson joined the RenoMasters team at the start of 2021 after moving from Blenheim with his young family. In Blenheim Chris worked mainly on high end residential new builds, renovations and remote access builds in the Marlborough sounds. Chris completed his certification in carpentry this year. Chris has a great attention to detail and is demonstrating strong and quality renovation building skills. When not at work, Chris enjoys mountain biking around some of the fantastic tracks in Dunedin plus spending time with his two young girls and partner.}

Luke

^{Luke Martin was born and raised in Dunedin. Growing up, his family introduced him to many hobbies such as; hunting, fishing and winter sports. Luke attended Otago Boys High School and was very active with sports playing; Volleyball, Basketball and Football. His favourite subject at school was woodwork so naturally he felt choosing to pursue a career along this path felt natural. After leaving school he went straight on to completing the Carpentry course at Otago Polytechnic before starting his apprenticeship, which he will complete over the next year. Luke is demonstrating strong practical building skills and gets on well with all members of the team.}

Blair

^{Blair McKenzie was born in Dunedin but spent his teenage years and finished school in Australia, before moving back to NZ to further his study. It was whilst undertaking a practical hands-on job that he found his “calling” and from here he decided to embark on a career in carpentry. Although Blair is still completing his apprenticeship, he has a can-do attitude and is adding many valuable practical skills to the very talented RenoMasters team. Blair’s other lifelong passion is basketball and plays competitively for Dunedin Mid-City Magic.}

Isaac

^{Isaac Paton joined the RenoMasters team in May of this year. He grew up in Dunedin and previously worked for another building company for two and a half years. Currently, Isaac is working towards completing his apprenticeship to become a qualified carpenter. When he's not on site, Isaac enjoys four-wheel driving, engineering and playing football.}

Nat

^{Nat Wijngaarden is originally from Wellington but came to Dunedin four years ago to study marketing and criminology at Otago University. Graduating last year, Nat decided to hang around as her siblings also came to study down south. She joined RenoMasters this year as Marketing Coordinator, organising the social media & website content and advertising as RenoMasters continues to grow. Previously working in retail customer service positions, Nat is eager apply herself and coordinate all things creative in this role.}

Design Conception to Completion
Right from the initial contact through to the completion we will be there to guide you along the way. We will meet with you onsite, in person (where possible) so we can obtain a good understanding of what it is you want to achieve with your project and so you can get to know us before we go any further and so we know we can work together, for what is sometimes the biggest investment in your life. This way we can run through your plan. 

We will go through our full process and let you know about the range of materials, fixtures and fittings that are available. 

Step One
First Initial Contact: We understand your time is valuable, so we will organise a time that suits for a no-obligation meeting. 

Step Two
Site Meeting: We will have a site meeting with you (where possible) to further discuss your project and go through our checklist in more detail.

Step Three
Meet and Work with Architect through the Design and Concept Process: After the site meeting we will have a better understanding of your requirements and visions, so we are able to meet with the Architect to discuss these requirements and ideas. ​

Step Four
Estimated Costs or Preliminary Budget: We will provide an estimation or a preliminary budget that accurately identifies the true cost of your proposed project at any stage.

Step Five
Approve Quote: Once your plans are with Council, it's time to put together your detailed final quote. This outlines what your investment is going to be prior to your project commencing. Once you're happy with the design, timeline and quote is agreed, an action plan is developed.

Step Six
Sign Contract and Agree on Start Date: Once you are happy with the design and all your requirements have been met, we will then go through your paperwork to ensure everything is taken care of including the signing of the contract.

Step Seven
All Systems Go: The work begins. We offer weekly site meetings or updates with the Project Manager or Foreman throughout the project.

Step Eight
