Each component is of excellent quality - I'm a mechanical engineer and I notice these things. Also measuring about 60 dBa at the stove top, so Schweigen's promise of quality and silent performance is legitimate.

Cooking with my Schweigen is like cooking in a library. I can barely hear it running yet it still manages to extract all the steam, smoke and odours with ease. It's like a ninja in the kitchen - silently doing its job and looking good while doing it.

Renovated my kitchen 3 years ago and installed a Schweigen Rangehood. It wasn't cheap, but really worth it. So quiet I had to keep checking it was on, but excellent power in clearing away any smoke and my house never has the smell of yesterday's fry up! Friends are jealous they are stuck with crappy noisy rangehoods. The filters are really well made too, and have been in and out of the dishwasher a lot as I like to keep them clean.

Changed our lives. Our previous pull-out had no suction and sounded like a freight train. We are only in a small retirement village unit but still got the 1600m3 fan so that we could keep the cooking smells down. It extracts everything and even steam from the rice cooker beside it. We no longer have to yell, turn the TV down or open the windows when we cook. This was an investment in our sanity.

Our range hood was installed mid December 2020 & we have found it to be very efficient & most importantly, quiet. We have an external motor & so the only noise we hear is air being sucked through the filters - no motor noise! Very glad we chose this option & would recommend it to family & friends.

Loving our Schweigen range hood. Soooo very quiet with a lovely bright light for cooking. Extraction is great. I know they are expensive compared to others but soooo worth it! Would definitely recommend!

I am very happy with my Schweigen range hood. It has been installed one year in my new kitchen and it is very efficient. I can't believe how quiet it is and how well it takes the steam and odours from the kitchen. I have just recommended it to a friend who is having a new kitchen installed.

Installing a Schweigen range hood has improved the comfort of our home. My husband wears hearing aids, and open plan living means lots of competing noise. Using the old range hood, which was so noisy, my Husband could not hear anything else. Therefore it was seldom used. With the Schweigen range hood it is now used constantly, even when we are eating, and we cannot hear it operating.

I chose Schweigen for its low fan db output and its sleek design. It has been in for just over a month now and I love it. Much quieter than our previous fan, integrates beautifully and provides good lighting above the cooktop.

We installed our Schweigen rangehood last year and it's the best rangehood I've ever used. It's so much quieter and the suction is fantastic.  The filters are also small enough to fit in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. Highly recommend :)

The suction is powerful and effective, and I can converse beside it even at its highest setting. Also loving the auto shut-off timer because it's so easy to forget the rangehood is running when it's this quiet.
