Jason Sullivan, Architectural Designer

Jason Sullivan has been working in the Building industry for 25 years, having gained trade certificate in the mid-1990s.
He is a Design 1 Licensed Building Practitioner and he has been a member of ADNZ since late 2014.

Jason started SS Homes Ltd in 2011. Prior to this he had the benefit of working for another leading New Zealand architectural design & build practice.
Since commencing his own business, he has focused on delivering creative and contemporary architectural design solutions to a wide variety of projects and clients. At SS Homes, our mission is to create simple, bold designs using sound aesthetic and practical principles to maximise site potential and achieve client satisfaction.

We understand the need for simplicity of structure, which leads to a simplicity of form & the use of proven materials. Communication is the key component of the design process. This begins with the client brief and extends to communication with councils, consultants and trades, always keeping the client informed of relevant outcomes. Communication is also important visually, so all concepts are 3D rendered for client approval. 3D modelling allows for great flexibility, and in conjunction with cost management input, provides for client's peace of mind, before proceeding to detailed design and construction.

SS Homes know the designing and building process through and through. Their building contracts include an agreed starting and completion date – you can plan ahead, and your home will be ready when you are. You can read more about our process here:

• 6-14 Weeks: Building consent is arranged, and contracts are signed.
• 14-42 Weeks: Building is underway.
• 42 Weeks: Handover – your home is ready!
