Stuart & Pierce is a prestigious residential building company that specialises in the construction of custom, architect-designed homes across Sydney. Directors Stuart Pierce and Luke Stuart, who both gained their qualifications in 1999 and have a wealth of on-the-tools experience behind them, founded the company in 2012.

They make a formidable team, with Luke’s innate understanding of structural systems and technical expertise, complemented by Stuart’s meticulous attention to detail and uncompromising work ethic. They thrive on a challenge and are adept at implementing unconventional and innovative methods to realise demanding design concepts or accommodate unusual or tricky sites.

Stuart and Luke take on only a select few projects at a time, which puts them in the unique position of being across every single detail as construction progresses. They foster a strong working relationship with their clients, encouraging collaboration and open lines of communication to ensure a smooth, cost-effective build.

Before homes are built, they are imagined – by you, your architect, and by us. So to make sure that everyone’s on the same page, every project begins with an in-depth discussion.

Our clients always have lots of questions and this is the time to address them all. We’ll talk about materials, costs, timing, and walk you through the building stages. We’ll listen to you and establish what your expectations and requirements are. If you have your architect’s plans, we’ll look over them and assess the logistics of the build, identifying any challenges or obstacles that may need to be addressed and how this will be achieved.

WE’RE ALL YOURS, FROM START TO FINISH
Stuart & Pierce are unique in that we will only take on a couple of projects at a time. This allows us to focus all our energies on building your home to the highest possible specifications.

We’re on-site from start to finish, overseeing every aspect of construction, and we’re your sole point of contact during the entire project. Building a home is a highly collaborative process – that’s why we’re always available to answer your questions, chat through any issues, and check-in with the many decisions that you’ll be making as your home takes shape.

We build with flair and meticulous attention to detail, and our work is supported by a fantastic team of highly-skilled, specialist trade subcontractors – guys with who we’ve developed a solid working relationship with over the years, and who share our commitment to delivering excellence.

Stuart and Luke have been working in residential construction since gaining their builders’ licences in 1999, and over that time have amassed a wealth of experience and expertise in a vast range of architectural styles and construction techniques.

This technical know-how is underpinned by a can-do attitude, a thorough understanding of structural principles, finely-tuned aesthetic sensibilities, and a genuine love for their craft. Stuart and Luke aren’t afraid to challenge conventional methods and will deploy a range of innovative techniques in order to meet an architect’s demanding design requisites, or challenging site conditions.

They also emphasise the importance of building sustainably and can advise on materials selections to optimise the performance of your home – in terms of energy efficiency, maintenance requirements, and the long-term value of the property. As an accredited HIA GreenSmart Professional, Luke has specialist knowledge of all the latest eco-friendly home design and construction solutions.
