Studio Gestalt is a boutique, visionary design firm with a passion for creative expression based in Sydney, Australia.
At Studio Gestalt we offer an array of Design services, ranging from concept design, documentation and council approvals as well as Interior Design, Decoration and Styling.
With more than a decade of experience, we work closely with you to ensure your space realises its true potential. Whether you’re planning a new build or a renovation, in a commercial or residential premise, Studio Gestalt can help you achieve harmony and balance within your space with our innovative, functional and aesthetic solutions. Our professional yet personal approach will add value to your project, while making the project experience itself enjoyable, seamless and stress-free.
Founding Director Warren Au has provided design services to residential, commercial and hospitality projects both locally and internationally, and with a finger on the pulse of global trends he is able to translate client’s ideas into hardworking spaces which inspire and excite.

Design Process
Listen
The foundation of any project; by asking a lot of questions and gathering as much initial information as possible, this will allow us to define the projects ultimate goal and fully grasp and the needs, wants and achievables.
To start the building block, the following will be addressed:
- Meet and Greet
- Discuss current situation
- Define your goal
- Define scope of works and services you may require
- Assess budget
- Establish collaborators
- Brief Creation
Translate
Following from the foundation gathered in stage 1, we then start to piece the information together by deciphering and translating the information into a working action plan, such items are to be expected:
- Site Visits
- Establish/set project milestones
- Establish priorities
- Space definition and planning
- Concept Idea exploration
- Concept imagery
- Finishes research/ direction
Create
Once the action plan has been established, we then evolve the ideas and directions generated into reality. In this stage items included are:
- Design Development
- 3D imagery
- Authority approvals such as Council Design Drawings
- Finishes and fixtures selections
- Tendering
- Construction documentation
- Construction Site visits
Final Touches
The stage before the big reveal. Furniture, objects, art and final touches are addressed, transforming the project from amazing to breath taking.
