John leads a team of talented architects and designers who produce simple, well-considered design.
John obtained his honours degree in architecture from Auckland University. After gaining experience working in Auckland, John spent almost a decade working as an architect in Berlin and London before establishing Studio John Irving architects.
The philosophy of the practice is to strive to simplify, to listen, to work with good people and to enjoy the journey. Our goal is to produce an enriching beautiful design that is modern yet timeless. Our work makes you happy.
