The Custom Space is a Nelson-based Joinery and spray-painting business.

We are dedicated to designing, producing and installing bespoke products for your home or business, to the highest standards.

We specialise in kitchen joinery, two pot spray finishes, as well as bathroom cabinetry, wardrobes, laundry, T.V entertainment units, commercial fit-outs, exterior joinery, and furniture.

Our team has a combination of traditional skills and modern techniques that allow us to create exactly what you’re looking for. Rustic or modern, The Custom Space knows how to craft the quality result you expect.

Kitchens

We stock a wide variety of quality fittings, fixtures, finishes, and our inhouse team of professionals offer a full custom planning and design service.

If you’re not ready for a complete kitchen rebuild we also have the ability to renovate your existing kitchen by re-spraying your existing cabinetry and replacing your current benchtop. An excellent option when you’re after something more cost-effective.

Spray Painting

Choose any colour/finish for your design with our dedicated on-site spray booth. We source our paint from an Italian brand, OECE, and trusted suppliers. We strive for a durable, high quality finish to ensure your cabinetry will stand the test of time.
