Exterior Wooden Doors

We create exterior doors that you can’t buy off the shelf. We will craft your door by height, width, and design. We can match new doors to an existing style – even for heritage buildings. French and bifold doors can also open up the side or back of your home. These are double-glazed and weathertight, to meet current building code standards.

Interior Wooden Doors

Functionality is the key for interior doors. We will design your doors for privacy, soundproofing, or heating, and finish them to match a style that links in with the rest of your interior. We can take care of the complete process here in our workshop (including staining or painting, and hardware installation) so that they are ready for delivery to your home.

Wooden Windows

Wooden windows add character to a home, and double-hung windows have an attractive traditional look. Popular types include square, bay and half-bay windows – even circular. You can enjoy peace of mind knowing your heritage or restoration home’s windows and frames will be extremely durable, and comply with the modern New Zealand standards for water tightness and draught prevention.

Kitchens & Laundries

We can craft quality one-off kitchens and laundries from your plans or sketches. We will produce a plan from a site measure, and can offer really good discounts on appliances through our trade accounts with wholesalers.

Bathrooms & Ensuites

We can design and craft wooden features for bathrooms and ensuites that are unusual, for example, architecturally-designed wall units, curved bath surrounds, and vanities. We can advise you on the characteristics of certain timbers that make them suitable for bathroom use as well.

Wooden Furniture

We design and create furniture to order, for a specific space or purpose. For example, a dining table of a particular size or shape may be needed for a special room. Similarly, a dresser, desk, or bookcase can be made for an area or nook, but can also be easily relocated. Church furniture such as pews and kneelers are something we have become known for.

Wooden Wardrobes

Our wardrobes are custom-made for a specific space, purpose, or lifestyle. They are built for the customer who wants their wardrobe to be a little different than what’s available off the shelf, and knows exactly how they want to use it. We use solid timber and quality hardware, which sets our wardrobes apart from common ones.

Customised Wooden Shelving, Display, & Storage

We design and create shelving, display, and storage units for specific spaces, and which will fit around the features of a room (such as entrances and alcoves) and link with the style and character of the home. We can produce standalone pieces (such as bookcases) as well, for easy relocation.

Wooden Outdoor Furniture

We design and create specialised and statement furniture to suit an outdoor space. Often, our customers have a specific style to suit their house. Outdoor wooden playhouses, gates and decorative fencing can also be made to order. Our service includes advice on how to care for handmade outdoor furniture.

If you have a beloved piece of furniture or heirloom that needs attention, we can restore it, or modify it to fit a certain space and replace missing or damaged parts. 

Antique furniture restoration is undertaken with great care and use of traditional materials, including French Polishing.
