Hero Banner for Tomba Tiling

We are a North shore based, family owned and operated business operating on projects throughout the Auckland district.  Tomba Tiling was established in 2004 when the co-owner - Dimce started working as a sole trader, shortly after arriving in New Zealand from Macedonia.  Quickly he fell in-love with the country and the people and decided to make New Zealand his permanent home. Soon after he met his now wife Ivana who started assisting him with the administration of the business. For many years Dimce was a sole trader, but as the business grew he started employing and contracting other experienced tilers.

In 2016 Dimce and Ivana went on a trip to Macedonia where they met two excellent tilers who were looking for a better life and an opportunity to immigrate to New Zealand.  That is when Tomba Tiling set the process of Darko and Kosta’s work visa applications in motion.  Darko and Kosta along with their families immigrated to New Zealand in 2017 and joined the Tomba Tiling team. In 2019 Marko and Ivo joined and enriched the team with their tiling, waterproofing and installing underfloor heating experience. We currently have a permanent team of five experienced tilers, however we also have a number of reliable, highly experienced contractors that we utilise when needed.

We feel passionate about supporting the community, over the years we have been regular and dedicated supporters of St Johns and Starship. Recently we heard that a local charity organisation had very unsafe floor tiles, we took it upon ourselves to provide the labour and materials to remedy that issue and make it safer for the community.
