You will work directly with the builder from start to finish. Versed in the latest trends and innovations, as well as the best in contemporary and classic architecture, we are capable of undertaking architectural challenges - whether they be structural, related to specific materials or advanced building techniques. With attention to detail, precision build and quality finishes, we take pride in each custom built project to bring your plans and vision to life in one uncompromising standard.

Founding Directors, Vince and Maria Cursaro, established Urbane Building Group in 2018. With a shared passion for the building industry and architecturally designed homes, their vision was to create a building company that provided a highly customised service specifically tailored to each clients’ unique requirements for their project.

Director and Master Builder, Vince has 25 years of experience working within the building industry. Beginning his apprenticeship in Melbourne, Victoria he gained hands-on experience and knowledge in all aspects of construction before completing his accreditation in Building and Construction. Working predominately in building high-end luxury custom homes, complex architectural builds and boutique commercial projects, he has a high attention to detail and problem solving. Vince oversees and leads all projects to ensure a high standard at every stage of the building process.

Co-founder and Creative Director Maria works closely with Vince in the business and overseeing each build. Having experience in multiple disciplines across Marketing and Business she brings both her creative flair and business acumen to the design and building process. Maria works with clients across the entire journey to guide and assist with the final selections of the fit-out of each project and to ensure each project remains within budget.

Together Maria and Vince bring a personal approach to each project, carefully crafting each build as if it’s their own to ensure they are delivered to the highest standard.

To ensure each project is delivered to the highest quality standard, we only take on a limited number of projects per year. This allows our company to maintain a highly personalised and positive experience for the project team, client and ourselves.

We believe the build journey should be collaborative, seamless & exciting. We work with interior designers, architects, engineers and most importantly, you, the homeowner to ensure a streamlined process from start to finish.

Every construction process is unique and varies with the scope and complexity of the project. However, we have outlined the typical steps we apply to all projects so you’ll know exactly what to expect.

Step 1 - Initial Enquiry

Get in touch! Following your initial enquiry, we will start to gather some information about yourself and your project to get an understanding of your requirements.

We will then set up a formal consultation to meet you in person.

Step 2 - First Consultation

You will meet face-to-face with Directors, Vince and Maria, to discuss all about your new home in detail.

Once we have explored your priorities and requirements and ensure your wish list aligns with your budget, we can progress to Step 3.

Step 3 - Design Refinement

To complete a detailed cost estimate for your project, architectural design plans for your project will need to be finalised.

We will work in collaboration with your preferred architects, designers and engineers to support the design process as needed.

Step 4 - Tender & Contract

After confirming the design changes, we will provide a formal cost estimate for your project. We will be clear and transparent about what’s included right from the start to give you peace of mind.

Once you are satisfied with the proposed contract price, and clearly understand the scope of works, timeline and payment schedules, you will sign a Build Contract with Urbane.

Step 5 - Approvals & Finishes

Once the contract is signed a building permit and all the necessary documentation to begin your build will be arranged and submitted by Urbane.

During this stage, we will also assist you with any final selections for your project, resulting in a full schedule of finishes, which means we are all set for Step 6.

Step 6 - Construction

Construction of your house begins. At specific milestones, we will invite you to check your build progress and help you finalise any decisions as required. Our team will be with you every step of the way, keeping you informed as your bespoke project takes shape.

Step 7 - Handover

The most exciting part of any project - handing over the keys to your new home. Directors, Vince and Maria, will meet you on site to welcome you to your new home and conduct a final walk-through to show you how everything works. But we’re not parting ways just yet.

Step 8 - Maintenance

Our service continues with you long after handover. We are available for any maintenance requirements following handover and look forward to checking in to see how you are settling in and enjoying your new Urbane home.
