Getting Started

Initial Project Briefing Consultation
To begin your project, we arrange an initial consultation meeting on-site or in our studio, enabling us to gain your project brief. From this appointment, we form a scope of work and prepare a fee proposal for us to complete your project. The initial project briefing is $250 (inc. GST) and fully redeemable on your project invoice.

Project Fees

After the initial project briefing consultation, we provide you with the scope of work and a fee estimate. Our project fees for most projects start from $5,000 and are individually calculated based on the estimated amount of working hours of the project scope.

When specifying furniture, lighting, ornaments, rugs, artwork, carpets, bathroom and kitchen products and other accessories, we endeavour to share preferred supplier industry pricing benefits. These benefits vary per supplier however usually will save our clients tens of thousands of dollars per project.

We're all about giving you the best customer experience possible, all while being committed to sustainability,  social responsibility and functional design. Turning a house into a home can be an intimidating task.

The projects by the Elevate Studio team developed through a process of us embracing our core values of Connection, Longevity and Authenticity. Our custom selections studio located in Newport delivers a state-of-the-art selections experience for you or your clients. A complete specification document and downloadable project budget template are included in your session fee.

Emma Vasi - Principal Designer & Founder
As principal at Elevate Studio and founder of the brand, Emma has garnered clients and followers from around the country. Whether styling a composition or designing a space, Emma is renowned for her graceful yet juxtaposed pairings. Layered textures and patterns, collected vintage pieces, and highly contrasting elements are all hallmarks of Emma’s aesthetic. Across her creative endeavours, she is fueled by her love of intriguing visuals.

Emma imbues her unique style in all of her projects, championing story above all else. Emma craves a design challenge and opportunities to show off her ever-evolving style. No matter what style she is asked to create, each space designed by Emma feels cozy, eclectic, and unique.

From humble beginnings, today Elevate Studio provides designs for large-scale high-end residences all over Australia. Emma and her team work with architects and our in-house contractors to bring the distinct visions seen in her work to life. Light-filled rooms, colourful textiles, natural elements, earthy textures, and brushed metals, are the elements that define the Elevate style and can always distinguish an Elevate-designed home.

Emma currently lives in Melbourne with her husband and business partner Nick, and their son Andre.

Nick Vasi - Project Manager & Operations Manager
Customer service, communication and quality epitomise Nick’s role at Elevate. A degree qualified project manager, Nick’s understanding of the construction industry positions him perfectly to ensure projects are carefully considered from inception to completion.

Having managed some of Melbourne’s most iconic projects, (incl. Flinders Street Station, Carlton Baths and Epworth Hospital) Nick's experience is second to none.

As can be expected of his role, Nick is exceptionally organised and approaches all that he does with the utmost care and diligence. Nick is driven by detail and always has a project’s best interests at heart.

Zana Puketapu - Interior Designer
Originally from New Zealand, Zana is passionate about the environment and our impact as designers. Her interest in sustainable interiors and passion for all things creative started at an early age, driving her to pursue a career in Interior Design.

Zana has experience in many aspects of the industry including designing for bespoke passive architecture firms as well as within the high-end residential setting. Zana’s design passions have recently transitioned to the world of residential interior design at Elevate. Her positive attitude and ability to find humour in most situations make her a delight to have around the office and on-site.

Johannah Fitzgerald - Lead Stylist
Elevate's resident organisational wizard,  Johannah is the backbone of our styling department.

With a background in visual merchandising at some of Australia's most iconic brands, Jo brings a well-rounded and varied wealth of expertise to the Elevate team. A stylish through and through, Jo's keen eye for detail coupled with her can-do attitude is a recipe for success.  Jo ensures our projects are executed smoothly and promptly and is Emma's right hand on and off-site.

On the weekends you will often find Jo scouring the isles of hidden vintage boutiques and retro furniture stores.

Sam Kaplan - Warehouse & Logistics Manager
With his extensive experience in logistics and customer service, Sam ensures our warehouse is always running smoothly. An exceptional leader and team player, Sam manages our in-house team of removalists and junior stylists, ensuring our projects are executed without a hitch.

Emanuel Camilleri - Registered Builder Unlimited (CDB-U 65991)
With over 35 years of experience in residential and commercial construction, Emanuel (Bill to his friends), is Elevate Studio’s secret weapon.

A licensed plumber by trade and the director of Proficient Plumbing Service & Proficient Homes, his wealth of knowledge spans decades.

Emanuel tackles his projects with the utmost care, settling for nothing short of perfection.

Sylvana Camilleri - Finance Manager & Administration
Sylvana has exceptional administrative skills and is an integral part of the growing Elevate team, who all share a great sense of purpose and drive to succeed. Sylvana keeps us running smoothly and efficiently, taking care of all Elevate staff and contractors, and managing payroll accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Adrian Camilleri - Site Manager & Licensed Plumber
A licensed plumber by trade, our site manager Adrian comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Always a friendly face on site, Adrian is responsible for the day-to-day management of our projects and ensures quality is always up to the Elevate standard. Diligent, dedicated and an extremely hard worker, you’ll love having Adrian on your team.

Ana Brocas-Reti - Studio Manager
Ana is a manager by nature – hence why we call her the studio “mum-ager”. Her extensive background in administration and office management brings a wealth of knowledge to keep the studio organised and on point! She understands the end game and is a lifeline for the team to get there. Her background in processes, procedures, human resources, and general management has been a huge asset to the growing business and team. Although she knows how to keep the atmosphere light around the office (you can’t miss her laugh), she is also a straight shooter who knows how to get things done. Outside of being the office “mum-ager”, she’s a real-life mum of two girls who keep her on her toes, so nothing gets past her!
