About us
"Nau mai uru mai ki tōku whare, ko Peter Wynyard tōku ingoa."
Welcome, I am Peter Wynyard and this is my design studio.
Please take this opportunity to discover who we are and the Mahi we do. Yes, we are an architectural design practise but I’d like to think we offer something more.
Kaupapa - Our Values
Our kaupapa are about building great partnerships. Whether you are a first time client or repeat client, consultant, project manager or builder, it’s a journey we are all on together to achieve the best possible outcomes for everyone that matters to us most.
In my 30+ years designing buildings I have had the wonderful opportunity to have worked with people of wildly diverse and ‘colourful’ backgrounds, but always passionate in their beliefs and commitments. It's so true when I say, our best work results from the best relationships.

To Tatou Kapa/Our Team
For those of you who are Christchurch, locals will know early 1900s brick Victorian & Edwardian buildings since September 2010 are as rare as a hen's tooth. So we’re rather excited to be working in one.
If you find yourself in the Christchurch CBD East Frame with some spare time on your hands, please feel very welcome to pop in and check out our new office digs. See the blend between the ‘modern’ with the quirks of a gracious lady that only 113 years of time can create.
I'll take you out for a coffee. We are literally surrounded by some of Christchurch’s best cafes and eateries.

Mahi/Our Work
If you read our kaupapa then you will understand ‘our work’ is not expressed in the singular context.
Each and every project we have done is the collaborative expertise and experience of many individuals and teams playing their part in the design & building of these projects. But of course, there is also an immensely trusting client that made everything we all do possible.
