Located in the heart of Akaroa with stunning views and strong maritime character is 'Akaroa Residence'. 

Durability and a design which was low maintenance was critical in our design along with providing a unique design which pulls the harbour into the property.

We wanted to create a cosy outdoor living space with expansive surrounds. We drew upon the stunning coastal views and character of Akaroa harbour. Our design pulls the harbour into the property, using boulders against the sea wall, coastal planting and recycled jetty materials. A sunken courtyard and framed views further connect you to Akaroa Harbour and allow uninterrupted views to the borrowed landscape from our clients house. 

This property was very successful in the 2018 Registered Master Landscapers 'Landscapes of Distinction Awards' winning:
