Streamlining the original layout to incorporate an integrated oven, cooktop and dishwasher into the old cabinets by pulling them forward allowed more bench top space in this large kitchen. This design achieved the blend of modern function with retro elega
Years of old paintwork were stripped away to reveal a rich grain in the original woodwork. During the day natural light floods the space and highlights this rediscovered timber and the new Formica patterned benchtop. The soft tones of the walls and tiles
At the client's request, we designed and had this task light made to be hung over the sink. It complements the stainless steel handles and the soft 1950s curves used in the kitchen.
