Art Deco Upgrade

Welcome to the Art Deco Upgrade project by Craig O'Keeffe Builders! This tired old art deco home in Timaru got a modern makeover to become the ultimate entertainment hub. The interior has been opened up, outdoor living enhanced, all while keeping the original street frontage intact. Cedar now complements the original plaster cladding, creating a sleek and stylish look throughout.  Inside, a pared-back palette and all-new flooring create a seamless flow from room to room. With new insulation, joinery, double glazing, and a heat pump, this home stays comfortable all year round. The gas conversion for hot water and a cosy fireplace add extra warmth, while the open-plan kitchen-dining space leads effortlessly to the porch. With a new bathroom featuring a luxurious Italian-tiled double walk-in shower, this home has truly become a blissful haven for its happy owner.
