By NEXGEN Constructions
A contemporary architectural metamorphosis from a 90s home, Nexgen created a dream dwelling that maximises the district views of Manly beach. The construction of this home is designed using steel and glass, similar to the McMasters beach house.
Steel has been used in building construction since the 19th century but mainly in commercial buildings. The frames offer the advantage of being custom-made and sized during the production process and there is no need to cut and fix their size during construction. The framing can be pre-framed which means that all door and window openings would be constructed at a factory and delivered to the site ready to erect. This means less labour cost and a shortened and more efficient construction period.
