Indoor-outdoor flow was essential for this Wellington home. However, due to being located three storeys up in windy Wellington, Renovation Partner Lia Boersma had to get creative in her methods. A multi-stacker sliding door system opens onto a beautiful timber deck with a new balustrade. The glass doors allow sunlight to filter through and illuminate the living room. Arguably the most innovative feature is the built-in barbeque. To protect it from flying across the deck in high winds it is cladded in rough stone with a heavy marble benchtop. This project is brought to you by Renovation Partner Lia Boersma from Refresh Renovations. Disclaimers: All Refresh Renovations franchises are independently owned and operated. “Jenelle Winstanley was the lead on our project and she very much gave us 110%. She communicated well, was in touch with regular updates and kept things rolling and on track. She was really approachable and friendly and always willing to be available whenever we needed her. Going the extra mile appears to be her default setting. I cannot fault her support, attention to detail and her enthusiasm for our project. I would highly recommend her to any of my friends.”
