Location Auckland Scope Interior Design: Hard & Soft Fit-out Project Management & Construction Size 262sqm Completed March 2020 The refurbishment of Booking.com’s existing Auckland office was to truly reflect the core values of the brand. The goal was to achieve a more fun and bright working environment while still retaining the necessary and functional spaces including, meeting rooms, kitchen and breakout area. Gaze worked very closely with Booking.com and Turner Townsend Project Manager, to achieve a playful and vibrant office that documents their fun ethos and team. There is a real New Zealand flavour to the design with a significant Kiwiana theme, Auckland city and beaches. Procurement of furniture, carpet and artwork completed the ‘picture’. Soundproofing was also introduced to the meeting rooms to create more privacy. The project was delivered with a tight program that crossed over the summer holidays.
