City Bungalow Revival

Within the picturesque Auckland suburb of Bayswater sits a traditional bungalow complete with stained glass windows and period features. But behind the facade, there’s much more to the house than meets the eye. Led by the Paragon Developments team, this home underwent significant alterations, including a second-floor extension to maximise living space. Newly created rooms include an expansive tiled bathroom, bathed in natural light courtesy of a lightwell and a Velux window. Downstairs, the remodelled kitchen makes full use of the newly created space, with the welcome addition of a walk-in larder. Externally, a covered patio and expansive heated pool create an outdoor entertaining area that will be enjoyed year-round. The retained frontage of the house also received the gold-star treatment. Our team replaced and updated original materials, ensuring this bungalow stands proudly for another 100 years. An overview of the project Paragon Developments enlisted the support of a variety of trusted tradespeople to complete this renovation to a high standard.
