Established in 2014, Cocobelle Beauty Salon is located in the inner west in Croydon.
Our clients vision was to create a space that was calming and soothing, inspired by natural materials with a moody and sensory experience.
During the design process all of the human senses were considered from texture, light, sound and smell. A considered palette of materials was used to incorporate a sophisticated and refined style evoking their passion for natural beauty.
A mixture of grey, dusty pinks and beige undertones creates the perfect backdrop for the rose, pink fluted marble counter. Beige tiled flooring connects the spaces throughout the lime washed painted walls and Joinery.
Natural light filters through dusty pink, translucent curtains against panelled windows that frame the space.
An arched banquette seating provides a welcoming space for clients to take a moment and prepare for a unique and retreat like experience.

Christie Da Silva is the founder and creative director of The Escapist + Co Studio specialising in unique Residential, Commercial & Retail Refurbishment projects. With a multi layered approach to design, she believes in stimulating all the senses with an emphasis on creating a sense of wellbeing for her clients.
Her aesthetic is sophisticated, tailored and refined. Natural materials and attention to detail build the design of the space that she is creating. Her passion for transforming spaces into somewhere they can 'escape' is her vision.
Christie believes that design is all about pushing the boundaries, this is where the magic happens. She understands that everyone's journey is unique and personal and that should be reflected in the work she designs.
When assisting and working on magazines such as Homelife and Better Homes & Gardens and styling for 'Quantum Quartz', the leaders in natural stone solutions, she was able to learn the scope of requirements needed to help her clients create something unique.
From custom designed Kitchens & Bathrooms, selection of Materials & Finishes, Furniture and Art selection as well as adding that element of the unexpected.
