This contemporary home located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches makes quite the statement with its striking curved roof dressed with zinc cladding and timber-lined soffits. With all of the elements of the award-winning architects Walter Barda Design, this really is a beautiful home.
Timber is featured throughout the home and upon entry, you are met with a series of spun timber oak dowels that run from the floor to the 6m high ceilings. The feeling of space is instantaneous and the proportions of this home are fantastic. Featuring stone throughout all bathrooms and sandstone cladding to the walls, these elements sit nicely in the space.
The roof was constructed and designed to appear that is floating above the structure with all services including the downpipes concealed within the structure.
