Completed in October 2001, Continental Car Services’ Audi showroom and workshops in Newmarket is the largest Audi facility in Australasia. Volkswagon Audi Group in Germany are particular about how their marques are presented and the building is subject to a rigorous validation process. Construkt have carefully interpreted and developed Audi’s guidelines to suit the site, NZ conditions and Continental Cars’ specific needs. Their new corporate offices are accommodated on a mezzanine floor toward the rear of the showroom.

The dramatic curved roof “hovers” over a lofty showroom, inside which the vehicles shine like jewels in a display case. At the back is the Audi-only service facility with 16 work bays and basement storage for 100 cars. Glass walls mean that customersan see their vehicle being serviced from the comfort of a cafe.
