Development Victoria has transformed unused surplus land in Springvale South into a thriving residential community, helping more people find homes in the fast-growing south east.
Coomoora is a new residential development and offers diverse housing options in size and price, along with significant open space for the community.
This site is ideally located close to work, education, and services, making it perfect for new housing. The development comprises 63 lots in total, including 16 land only lots and 47 townhouses. The development offers a diverse range of housing so people will have greater choice in both size and price.
Development Victoria partnered with Homes Victoria to deliver 4 social housing properties within the development. Funded by Homes Victoria, the 4 dedicated townhouses managed through Aboriginal Housing Victoria will provide much-needed homes to Victorians eligible for social housing. The delivery of these new homes contributes to the Government’s commitment in its Housing Statement to deliver 800,000 homes over the next decade.
Coomoora has been designed with approximately 10 per cent of the site devoted to common open space for residents to enjoy, including two key park areas featuring communal bench seating and landscaped areas. In addition to this, a further 10 per cent has been designated as public open space facing Coomoora Road.
