Interior refurbishment to existing rooms at Curtin Campus in Bentley WA Think Space is a flexible, collaborative space situated at the heart of the Curtin University campus. Curtin has a proud reputation for technology and innovation, and the project is located in one of the campus’ original 1966 concrete buildings. The design language draws inspiration from Neofuturism and the works of Archigram and Superstudio, The brief called for a flexible interior that would facilitate a variety of groups and collaborative activities and adopt a decidedly less corporate feel than other spaces on campus. The interior accommodates a variety of activities and opportunities for engagement with the industry. The aesthetic strikes a delicate balance between playful and professional and is proving to spark conversation between users. Photography: Dion Robeson
